Heart Healthy Circuit Training Workout

Workout Wednesday… AND Valentine’s Day!❤

Did you know that Circuit Training can help reduce the risks of heart disease, stroke, diabetes and cancers? It’s true! One of the many benefits of Circuit Training it that it can improve and lower blood pressure, cholesterol levels (LDL, triglycerides) and raise HDL good cholesterol. This may help the body return to normal levels and thereby reduce the risks of heart disease, stroke, diabetes and cancers. The heart is a muscle so the combination of cardiovascular conditioning, strength training, balance, and flexibility activities with an always changing intensity allows for a fun, efficient, never boring, challenging, and highly effective method for improving overall well-being, while reducing the risks for heart disease (heart attack, high blood pressure and cholesterol, and stroke).

With all that being said, Happy Heart Day! Here is another total body circuit using a jump rope and a set of dumbbells.
